McGaughys offers a HD rear spring or a softer rear spring, both are a 3"drop.I'm running the soft spring with their rear shock extenders and Edelbrock IAS shocks trying to get better weight transfer for traction purposes.

Define 'better.' To me, stiffer is preferable, because then I get the handling I want in the turns. But there is a sacrifice in that they are a little stiffer on the road. If you want the stock ride, the Eibachs will be too harsh and stiff for you. Then, the McGaughys might be your best bet.

If you lower via torsion bar keys or the torsion bar bolts in the front, your ride will get a little sloppier (looser); this can be compensated by getting stiffer shocks. If you lower with spindles (McGaughys), you have the stock torsion bar spring rate and nothing needs to be done.

You actually need to do some research. I researched for over 2 months before making my decision, and I've had to modify it twice since then. The only thing I did absolutely correct the first time was spindles. That is the only way to drop the front properly.

Try www.mcgaughys.com and check their 2"/3" deluxe kit.
