I tried two alts on one system and it didn't work. Only one would charge at a time, unless the voltage drop from one got so low, then the second one would kick on. By the time the second one kicked on, the voltage drop was over (bass from a song). I ended up putting in a second battery and ran two separate system, and it worked pretty well. I did it because of the voltage drop from my e-fans. I no longer run e-fans so I took the second system back out, but that's definitely the way to do it. Run your high draw stuff off of a second separate system.
