Default Duramax radiator swap?

I am currently building my 03 RCSB silverado with a LSX 427 and I was wondering if a radiator out of a D-max will work in my truck. I'm guessing the outlets are probably a different size and so on, but will it fit fairly close to stock?

it will fit but will not function properly. this was tried by whippled_496 to swap to the dmax radiator and intercooler but ran into problems

the dmax is a diesel and as a diesel it runs at a lower temperature than a gas engine by nature. the dmax radiator is not sufficient enough to cool a gas engine

Dang! What are other guys doing to solve their cooling problems? Or is the radiator from a 2500 HD 6.0 enough to cool a 7 liter?

not many guys are runnin a 7L in a truck, LOL!

i do know that the 34" core radiator is sufficient for cooling a 408, at least from what ive read on here, and that is the one from the HDs and ones with efans stock (05-up)

im guessing that you could get an aftermarket aluminum radiator....
