I never dynoed mine right after my cat removal but I gained .3 tenths by cutting my cats off & running 3 inch pipe in place of the factory y-pipe. I already had the headers & cam.

I tested this on back to back weekends, same temp & humidity

I had mine gutted the other day, and they are fricken LOUD! How you like the sound?

What kind of mods do you have if you don't mind me asking?

I'm looking at getting a 5.3l for a future project. I have access to a 01 LS6 cam, springs and exhaust manifolds. Just trying to gauge what to expect from the LM7......

I have gears, comp 212-218 (switching to tr224) ls6 springs, Pushrods, CAI, pcm...short headers.. thats about it.....

We were very surprised at the results. That number comes after the cats and we also pulled 2 degrees of timing to get ready for nitrous. The cats were very clogged for whatever reason. Im not sure if that gain is normal for most cars though.
