how do these trucks perform compared to a Lightning with normal bolton pulley and chip? the lsx based motors probably have an advantage with the higher compression and better designed blower (isnt the radix a twin screw)?

looking forwards to it.

Radix is a roots style S.C. To bad it's not a twin screw.

ah well crap! well that is unfortunate but you are stuck with the same blower as me (mine is 112" so i bet the radix is the same). so i guess the numbers will be real close to an L with say a 2 lbs pulley on it (though no one runs that in the L world) lol.

ah and yet another question - with it being a roots blower, do you guys make significant more power with exhaust mods or head porting? the L guys dont. this being from the fact that a roots blower can only turn so many cfm.

Head porting does not seem to help much. LT headers give you a nice improvement.

i dont understand why if head porting doesnt help, why LT headers would help? i only see it as taking boost out of the motor robbing the cylinder pressure. L's loose about 1-1.5 psi with LT headers. only gain is some mid rpm tq.

well we had it dynoed today at mti "thanks jayson ".....the fuel pump that came with the kit was not big enough for this aplication.....it made about 387rwhp at 5300 rpm with the fuel pressure dead because of the fuel pump..{the truck pulls to 6200 rpm}.it was still climbing strong and that was after about 1 hour of hard running on the dyno and the intercooler water was hot as hell, i think with a cool intercooler and a good fuel pump it will make 400 easy....this thing sounds bad ***...when you punch it off the line the truck just goes sideways on concrete with bfg 33s on it.i love it...

Congrats on the numbers, and I agree with you on the possibility of 400hp. Did you have it on a wide band while dynoing it? How did the KR and timing look?
