Dyno results with comp 216/220 cam!
Werll i gotta baseline dyno before i put the cam in. Mods are in the sig. It dynod at 260 rwhp and 311 ft. lbs torque. After the cam it dynod at 285 rwhp but i cant remember the torque. I did dyno before they put my 3200 stall in. Would the TQ have made a difference in dyno numbers? My idle is also good surprisingly, since i dont have the predator. and when i put my cutouts on do u guys think i could hit 290? thanks. And are these good, typical, or bad numbers for my mods? thanks alot! Oh yea how much hp do u guys think i would gain if i switched to predator?

I seen a dyno sheet somewhere......it was a stock truck with a 5.3. They did a run with the HPPIII and then the Predator. The Predator got 12 rwhp and 14rwtq over the HPPIII. 25 rwhp and 32 ft/lbs above stock.

The 12rwhp and 14rwtq seems about right. i have a dyno chart showing similar gains before and after my diablo predator tuner. The dyno chart is here: http://home.earthlink.net/~akuma/dyno2.jpg

I accidently left the dyno sheet at the tune shop, but im gonna get it tomorrow so i dont remember what it peaked at.
So guys, what can the predator offer me that the hpp3 cant? the main reason i went with the hpp3 is because it allows u to wrap ure motor higher than 5900 unlike predator.

Spend the $100 more than the Predator and get LS1edit. It will have the best of all tuning options by FAR. You can do so much with that cam and edit, and if you wanted to rev to even 6000 you could. Just my .02
