Ryan / JJ - Did you guys see an Escalade EXT at MMT (it better still be there)? Did they have any work done on the LS6 intake / direct port nitrous install? I'll probably swing by this evening to see how the work is going. I forgot to drop off the LS1 edit cable for it.

Did you bring in your own LS1 edit cable, or did MMT buy a single user cable? I don't think they have the shop version, but I may be wrong.

BTW - nice numbers.

The F1 cam is a Comp cams grind that SpeedTek in Dallas came up with. I think its a reverse split 230/226 XE-R.

That is a pretty big cam. I wouldn't think that the HP/TQ numbers would peak at 5500/4700 rpms, I would have guessed much higher. Any advance on the cam timing?

This is the profile for Sean Freese. Use it to contact him I guess. https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=73

Gregg - JJ is still running the 99 truck injectors They are 21.5 pounders, so he is probably running about 14:1 by the time he hits 6000 rpms. I'm sure his power level just falls off with the lack of fuel. Typically with that large of a cam, you'll have a higher HP number than torque. If he had enough fuel to feed peak torque the torque number will be about right, but if he's out of fuel before peak HP, power will drop off. I'd be willing to bet that with more fuel, his HP numbers will go up and the HP peak rpm will be higher than 5500.

damn richard you are exactly right on why the power came on so early. Those injedtors are killingme and I am kicking my self in the a$$ for getting rid of those freakin 6.0 injectors. If I had kept those injectors I would probably be around 380 rwhp but right now it just leans out way to much up top. The specs on that cam are 230/226 591/561 on a 112lsa it sounds great at idle and really has no problems at idle and it just "passed inspections" today It is going to the tranny shop tomorrow because it is not shifting properly into third almost as if it is slipping then after that we should get everything resolved with the old paint shop and the lawyer and take it to the new paint shop and I am just keeping it solid electron Blue pearl.
