Default Dyno'd after the 4l80e swap

Well been super busy the last few months now
Finally got a chance to re-dyno my truck with the 4l80E and PI torque converter
The numbers are still up i don't thinki lost too much at all
Best pull was 569rwhp and 602rwtq on 13.5psi on pump gas and 17.5 degrees of timing.
All that power was just before 5k rpm where the graph took a **** and dove down
I need to change vavle springs it seems the EX springs are not able to keep up with the 600lift cam i have
So the next project is putting in some partriots i have and some slicks on the dyno as it was spinning pretty bad
It was pretty cool hearing my truck peal out on the dyno in the passenger seat !!

I feel that with the new springs 600rwhp on pump gas is a reality for sure

nice numbers but i think you may be premature blaming the EX springs for you top end miss. i did the same thing, missing above 6k, then 5600, then 5200, thought it was the springs so i swaped in some patriots and it didn't fix it. turns out it was an ignition issue for me.

you forgot to tell everyone that was thru closed exhaust, open that bitch up and there is your 600rwhp on pump, then let it rev to 6k+ and who knows where you will be ON PUMP

That's some pretty good numbers. My setup is running Comp 978s installed at 1.80"installed height good for .660lift.I've got to get my 3300AX Whipple installed to see if I can make 600+rwhp.I thought you were selling your truck?

No I forgot to get mine asright after i pulled my truck off i strapped another car on
and forgot the graphs

oh forgot the big thing in full street trim

See the thing is I don't think it's a ignition issue as i have spun it uo that high and have never had the problem
And everything is the same
Gonna try the springs as i have them
Then back to the dyno

I have about 10k on the springs

it could be the springs, does it seem to miss or just stop making power? i have been told bad springs just stop making power but ignition will sound like a miss. mine sounded like a miss.

GMC SKI-

How are you getting all that power to the ground? 2WD or 4WD? Regardless, those are some huge numbers! Congrats! (See, some people do care )

Very interesting indeed! I've got a 6.0l and a PT-72 that I'm putting in something a little lighter...not by much though...my Bu-hog. Hoping I make
near the same power on 10-12psi and pump gas or pump gas/alky. If alky, then I'll run the boost up to as high as I can...20-24?
