Dyno'ed the mule yesterday
2002 GMC SCSB
5.3 stock internals.
E-fans, custom 4in. intake
thorley headers, custom Ypipe. no cats.
single 3in exaust w/ cut out open
only tuning was rev limiter at 6000, cheapo gas
temp 94 degrees and around 80% humidity.
Hp-263.7
trq-270.2.
Torque seems a little low, but the hp is about what i figured. what can i do to get that torque number up? I still have stock pulleys, and the only reason for not tuning it was i just got the truck back from the dealer for warranty work and its so damn hot, i dont see much use. I know i could have gotten more out of it, but i just wanted a baseline b4 cam springs and thunder racing tune.

That sounds about right. Grats
That's 20rwhp or so higher than my truck stock with just a K&N so it sounds good to me.
As for the ET and MPH, no way that was on the stock setup unless that truck only weighs 3700lbs or less.

The dyno setup was no tuning except for rev limiter and speed limiter moved up. i work very hard with tuning timing and fuel at the track that i had set back to stock when i took the truck in for warranty work. none of the tuning was there b/c i just got my truck back friday. also dyno time was 94 degree heat and about 80% humidity which is going to kill power also. I ran my best time In January, at 37 degrees and around 25-30% humidity. i do alot of ET reducers at the track that the dyno numbers are not going to reflect. in ex: slicks weight reductionand a short belt that was not run on dyno, couple traction mods too. Yes its very possible to run my times on a stock internals 5.3. Have you ever heard or Lotsofn? while he had his truck, he was running 13.20s at 100.
