Are you still using your EGR? If so, did you remove the tube plug from the factory?

Are you talking about the EGR plug on the top of the Intake behind the Throttle body?

I don't think that there is an EGR on the 2002 model. I know I don't have one.

The O2 sims don't work for some people. A custom tune would fix that little problem though.

Snakeoiler is probably right, the '02s may not have the EGR; on my '00 Sierra the EGR valve has a small diameter pipe connecting to a fitting on the passenger side header. On my Dynatech Supermaxx headers, the EGR tube was plugged with a threaded brass set-screw that could be removed with an allen wrench. After I removed it, mine stopped throwing codes.

I threw a code on my truck after the same header install. Still does from time to time even after replacing them with the Bosch with larger heaters. P1057 best I remember. Low voltage bank 2 sensor 2. I've got hp tuner so I just disabled the ses light. EGR is something to consider but my 03 did not have EGR. I also had leaks in the y pipe that took a bit to get sealed. I'd start with a code scan to help pinpoint where to look?

I just wanted to thank ya'll for all the help with my problem. I am going to get a tune from Nelson & 3 dyno pulls. Oh ya,my codes are as follows: P0443 Evaprotive Emission Purge Solenoid Control Circuit; P0507 Idle Speed High; P0140 Circuit Insufficient Activity Banks 1&2 (sensor2)and P0300 Engine Misfire Detected. Total of codes. I can't believe I bought o2 sims that I can't even use!!!
