Default E-fan Harness?

Picked up some lt1 fans, now I am looking for a harness. I know that nelson makes one and is highly recommended by most people here. My question is will the nelson harness work with a tune from a different shop? (pcmforless tune with the fans turned on) From what I have read, it should, just want to make sure. Also, is anyone using the pcmforless harness? any real difference than nelson? I know its about the same price.

Im pretty sure the nelson harness will work with any tune. Best thing to do is just give him a call real quick and ask....

I have the PCMforLess tune with a Nelson harness, it works great. Basically, the different tuners all do the same thing, ground pin 42 to turn the fans on and remove ground to turn them off at whatever temps they're set for. The PCMforLess harness and Nelson harnesses are totally different in the way they're designed, plus the PCMFL harness doesn't have a provision to turn on the fan for a/c. Personally, I'm very impressed with my tune and harness...they work well together.

You will need a harness.

From what I can tell, both harnesses are the same, the 3 relay harness that is. They are both made from the same wiring schematic I *think*. Sometimes thinking gets me in trouble though.

Either harness will work with any tune. Just as long as the PCM is told to turn the fans on and off and the harness is installed correctly.

There is another harness available, that has an adjustable low speed setting triggered by temp and AC, high speed being triggered by the PCM. I'm not quite at liberty to discuss many more details, but you can PM me about it.
