How exactly does that relay setup work?? Do the fans come on with the A/C also?? When and how do the fans go on and off??

yes sir. hayden was the one that i used first. then i went to a derale one.

16759 is what i used. i like the drerale products better. i have used there transmission products as well as the temp deal for the fans and will continue to use them.

I just checked out the Derale switches- Summit has them for like $40 thats not too bad. But did you have rig up a seperate relay for the A/C.

nope it coes with a wire just for the a/c.

Alright, I guess $40 aint too bad, its probably the best thing untill I can afford a tune. Did you have problems with it? why did you change to the DCC?? THANKS for the info!!!

i went to the dccontroller since it didnt turn them on at 100% ever. but i have since went to a nelson harness and they are at the 60% and 100% cycle again, the dc controller is a good piece but it is very delicate. i think the harness i have now will work just fine. it is wired up the same as the ls1's.

I am new to all this and sorry for the dumb question. I know in older cars, pre fuel injection and computers, electric fans help free up H.P. is putting them on the newere truck basically doing the same thing? If so what fans/parts do i need to put them on my NBS 99 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 in it?

How exactly does the PCM turn them on? If you have a predator can it be used to set them up?
