That's the least expensive route, and it seems to work great for the folks who have em. I really like my 05 e-fans, but it's definitely more expensive to go that route.

Why Do You Need The Nelson Fan Harness? What Problems Will This Cause With Out It? Or Just Hardwiring It With A Toggle Switch?is This A Bad Idea?

They draw too mutch current to just use a switch. You can hard wire them through relays, but when you start on this a harness is a lot neater. You would in a sence be building your own harness.

What kind of brackets are you using to put on the LS1 fans. If you could, show some pics of the install, that would be greatly appreciated. Im looking at a set right now and will order the nelson harness when i get them.

hey man how did you make the 05 fans work, did you get a new radiator too. cause the radiator is 27" on my truck but 05 have like 31 or something, i can get the two fans the same price at my junk yard

I got a new 34" radiator from RadiatorBarn.com. I noticed in your sig that you have the K&N 77 series, not sure if the heat shield is the same as the regular FIPK, but I had to modify mine (FIPK) to clear the radiator, but it came out pretty decent. Then I switched to the Volant which clears no problem. I can't post the price for the radiator since the Barn is a non-sponsor, but I could PM it to you if you want...or you can Google Radiator Barn and it'll give you a link to their website.

im finding new problems, ive had some people tell me the tgruck will burn uot the ls1 fans due to havein g to do more cooling then for the cars, and flex=a=lits e fans for our trucks only fit 34 inch rads wtf, is the 5.3 rad bigger the the 4.8? from 03-04
