Which E-Fans???
Flex-A-lite has two models out now for the GM trucks/SUV's...
The 282's (the older design) 282's Product Link
The 292's (Newer design but, moves less air!?!) 292's Prduct Link
The 292's look like a much better design but, they don't move as much air... I wonder which is really the better set up though... I don't want the GM LS Fans because they cost way too much new ($700+ last time i checked), don't like the idea of used ones either...

You've got the 34" radiator in the Avalanche - the 282 is the fan for the 34" radiator. The 292 is for the 28" radiator, which goes in the pickups.
I've had the 282 on my truck for about 1-1/2 years now and had no issues. Others have had problems with the VSC. I set the fans up so they come on when the temp hits 200 degrees. It never moves above that, no matter how hot it gets outside or whether I'm sitting idling for extended periods of time. An added benefit is cold a/c all of the time, even when idling in traffic.
