Default E Fans...Aftermarket Fans..

Are these really worth their weight in gold? Anybody have specs? (Ie: best brands, best value, etc..) havn't seen to many posts about this...

my main question is how much, and installation...also are they a lot louder?

The very best e-fan setup is the 05 factory fans with the nelson harness programmed to your pcm,you never hear them,they work every time and they use factory weathertite connections.Call SDPC and see if they will still give you their special sale price.

good suggestions, i do NOT want to hear them...i just want my engine to know thats it a lot colder than normal under there....where can i find SDPC?

You will need to upgrade to a 34" radiator to use the 05 e-fans.

I have LS1 fans as do a lot of others here and they run the same as factory fans with a harness from nelson or someone else and a tune. You can genearlly find the LS1 fans for under $100 and they will fit on your stock 28" radiator.

I can't hear my LS1 Fans when they run... I love the extra torque from ditching the big ole clutch fan...

so, when you guys are saying "ls1" fans... you're talking about fans out of an f-body... yes? (dumb question, i know.. but the ls1 isnt just in those... and wanted to make sure )
