electric fans dont leech power a mechanical fan does because it take power from the crank to pull it and that takes away power from the rear wheels

i figured alt pulley -> alternator -> efan you are going to lose some mechanical power. after all, the electricity is generated somewhere. but my main question is since i already have efans, whats the benefit of the cooler Tstat and programming the efans to it

your alt. runs no matter what and puts out the same no matter what

a cooler tstat will lose 1-2 mpg and gain maybe 5hp not enough to notice

i dont reccommend changing tstat to cooler temp unless you have a supercharger or turbo or nitrous
