the hot relay may have a shorted coil...which, if it is the low speed relay, could keep the fans on low. fry's has small metal enclosures for sale that could be used.

Where are your relays mounted that they're taking on water? Mine are mounted to the PCM cover and they stay dry...I'm not real low to the ground though...I see you're 3/4...

I put my relays under the fuse box cover.

They are mounted also on the cover but cali was hit with bad rain all last week that caused me to drive through some big *** puddles

update-i went a picked up a some new relays after work. they only had two so i only got to replace two of them but my main concern was the relay that got really hot today. The problem seems to be fixed but it bugs me that i have 2 gray relays and one black. Call me **** but that stuff bugs me. i have 4 more on order just incase other go out in the future

I wouldn't use the el cheapo relays, they'll blow too easy. The blackbear ones are of higher quality, but you can't be having them in water.
