If you're up there in miles, I'd buy the master overhaul kit for your install. It comes with all the parts you'll need-bearings, races, seals, gasket, etc.

i only have an open differential right now, so therefore i have to buy the whole kit.an overhaul kit will do me no good. i have nothing to overhaul.

I still have my shims... brand new in plastic. I will sell them to you for cheaper than 50 if you want them. My tollerances ended up ok, so I didn't use the shims. Let me know.

thats what im tryin to figure out if i need them or not. apparently this unit is only the posi and does not come with the carrier bearing or race shims.

Daniel, Your truck has the correct bearings already. If you wish to purchase a set ,we sell 2 bearings & 2 races for $30.0o. We recommend purchasing our Intra locking carrier shims for $25.00 also. Please e-mail us a phone number is you have any other questions.
