When you turn the key on, you should see your check engine light and you'll know if the bulb is burnt out or not.

Are the sensors still plugged in? Sometimes it takes a while to trip a code. If they're completely unplugged and the light still isn't coming on, and the PCM hasn't been tuned, then I'm baffled.

These headers had the EGR flange but stock EGR tubes weren't long enough .

!!UPDATE!!
SES light is now on !
Truck is now sputtering under load ?
I'm sure this has to do with the EGR ?
Also Noticed a ticking noise under drivers side , it seems that its rubbing front drive shaft , i had to heat and dimple for clearance .

So can someone explain to me what a tune will do ? Does just cover up the EGR an O2 codes ? or does it actually adjust the computer for proper fuel air mixture?

Ive been running headers with no tune for about a year now, with no adverse effects. I do have a SES but its just rear 02's. You might want to check your plug wires if it started running poorly all the sudden.

Good call on the spark plugs , i had some DEI insulator wrap on there but still burnt thru to wire? I seen somewhere on here to wrap the #5 and #7 wires with aluminum foil then put the DEI wrap back on , so i did that after getting new wires and took the family for a test drive , and man i tell ya THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT !!!
Although my truck seems to be running extremely rich , im still loving it ? Time to save up for a tune !

The rear 02s only let the PCM know the status of the Catalytic converters. The front 02s are what the PCM uses for Fueling.
