Can you get a die grinder in there and smooth it out maybe?

You don't "always" get what you pay for...sometimes you get a LOT less.

The JetHot (aka HOOKER) coated longtubes that I had on my 2000 Camaro SS. I never knew that RUST was considering a "coating"...Not to mention the ORY pipe was 4 separate pieces that rubbed, or vibrated against, anything even remotely close to it, lol. My Chinese Ebays fit much better, and plug access is also better. Gung Ho!

from what it sounds like you didnt even get a legitimate lpp y-pipe...considering the brand was welded on rather than stamped like they come from lpp. from the detailed pictures ive seen of the LPP product from a member on sss.com it is a quality product and the merge in the y-pipe is as smooth as any others ive seen.

They aren't the ones I started this thread about. Those are the $500 OBX ones. I was referring to the $300 fake OBX ones.

I actually just sent an email to the seller to ask what the deal was...

Dear dnamotoring,

I bought a set of these and am very happy with them. So much so, that I did
a complete write-up, complete with pictures (
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=450962 ),
detailing my installation, and have been recommending them to a LOT of
people on various truck websites. For some reason, I can no longer find
them listed here on Ebay. Are you out of them, or no longer selling them,
or what? Many people have said they want to buy some, but can't buy what
isn't available, or listed. Thanks.

I'll post if/when I get a reply back.
