Default edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold for LS1-based engines

why arent people using this manifold instead of the victor jr.
the performer rpm should make more power down low than the vic. jr. i would think

it just seems to me that it would be a better choice of an intake manifold for those of us not building an all out race engine

neither is the vic. jr. you have to use a throttle body for fuel injected apps.

i just figured that the performer rpm has a better power range than the vic. jr.

You can get the Victor Jr with the fuel injector bungs already machined with fuel rails included, I don't think the RPM has the bungs machined, as far as the power band, they are rated for carb apps I believe, because of that when running fuel injection, you don't have to worry about fuel atomization issues at lower aiflow like you would with a carb, so that would move your powerband down a little lower for fuel injected apps.
