Me too! When I got my truck in April 2003 it was the only like it on the lot. The dealer had no diesels and there we none locally to locate. If I ordered one I would have lost the 0% finance so I ended up with my 6.0 Liter 2500HD. I still ove it to death, I can only imagine wat the D'Max is like!!!

Welcome to the club Jorday.I Hot Juiced my 03 Dmax 2 weeks after I bought it last year.The truck will absolutely scream for a 7300 lb rig.I had a 02 8.1 HD and the Dmax would easily kill it in a drag race and the mileage is awesome.It is a blast to see the look on the gasser guys faces when you pull away from them in your "slow" diesel.My truck has never been plugged in and started right up @-15 deg F.I have a big crewcab 4x4 with 33 inch rubber so my times are off because of the extra weight.Just imagine what a 2500HD 2 wheel drive regular cab Hot Juiced Duramax/Beefed Allison would run with a 200 shot of nitrous on ET Drags.I think with some effort low 11's are doable.As my truck sits now I run door to door with stock IROC-Z's and 80's mustang's in the 1/4 mile.

i love running mustang gt's, they get so bummed out when you leave them standing at a light. as for me i have the hot juice with the attitude monitor, it's sick, old dyno with the 90 hp juice was 337hp with 33" rubber. i cant wait to dyno with the new box.
1/4 mile with the 90 hp was 15.02 2.0 60'

also is anyone else getting turbo surge, i have my wastegate disconnected and i'm boosting 33 lb at the manifold, i was talking to Christian at BD and he modified a Cummins blowoff valve to fit the DMax, so i got the first one!!! it's awesome and loud. no more turbo surge for me.

tell me more about this modified bov. will it make the turbo hiss louder? i havent experienced any surge though at about 30 psi.

EIther of you guys hear like this sort of beeping noise in 5th gear at WOT on the interstate. If I put the pedal down at 70 mph in level 4 I can hear this beeping noise that starts just after the turbo starts boosting. It's loud enough for me to hear over the turbo whistle. It continues to do this until I let off the accelerator.

My 04 does the same thing, but I do not have a chip yet. It makes a whine (Not the normal turbo sound) at WOT. I also have this weird knocking sound with mine. Also the Tech2 shows that my truck is making 14psi at idle and 28psi at WOT in 3rd.. Its crazy lol. Stupid Can-bus lol!

Yours does that same thing too, huh? Now I feel batter that someone else knows that I'm talking about. It's just a beeping type sound, not too easy to hear, at WOT. Sounds like its coming from the engine.

Well, I'm going to assume that there's nothing wrong with I guess. Just a funny noise I guess.

Jorday.. I will let you know what it is. Im taking mine in for some Warranty work on Monday, along with the first oil change, etc.. Got the same color is me but a Chevy. I have a Birch Silver GMC HD 2wd Crewcab.

Let me know what you find out. I'm don't really think it's a problem since the truck seems to run great, I'd just like to know what's making the noise.

BD just took there cummins valve and made different adapters and wiring to fit the dmax. it works well. as for making it louder no, but when you let off the throttle the valve opens, relieving the excessive boost to prevent surge. if you have your wastegate hooked up you probably will not experience surge, but is sound awesome when it goes off.
