90 degree lower IAT's and 12 more degr of timing (23-24 total) yielded a 75 rwhp gain !! For every 2 degrees of advance I had to change the PE fuel by around .02 to keep the A/F the same, so I guess increasing the timing does lean it out a bit. The dyno graphs got smoother and smoother as the engine became more and more efficient. When we reached the limit, another 2 degrees killed the power by roughly 30 hp. So I turned it back down and made 1 more pull to back up the results and the power came back.

I am planning on pulling a few deg and adding about .5 to the A/F just to be safe for every day driving. Gonna take it to the track this Sat with the "dyno tune" and see what kinda ET gain 75 hp is good for.

So what were the final numbers over the non intercooled setup ?
what were your hottest intake temps after a run ?140-150?

I started another thread with the final numbers yesterday....https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=288278

The rwhp ended up at 489 and the highest rwtq was 574 but my actual torque is probably over 600. We weren't able to dyno it at a low enough rpm to capture my torque peak. I am having converter issues.

I just took a quick look at some logs on the IAT's. On a 410 hp run before the I/C it looks like I was at 169F at the start of the pull and 225F at the end. In comparison, the 489 hp pull yesterday was 91F and 131F. I think the absolute highest I saw the intake temps go yesterdy was 145. So yes I agree, intercoolers RULE !!
