Default egr/air

when i build the new motor i plan to get rid of all the egr bullshit. question is what will this effect/affect, the o2-03 trucks don't have it so what will happen if i get rid of it on my truck and hopefully by the time i get the engine built i'll have LS1EDIT to tune it and etc. not to mention turn off the rear 02 sensors. OH YEAH!!! i'm getting a NEW tranny in the truck and a few upgrades also can't wait to get it in there and give it a whirlllll !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will lighten up you truck about 8lbs. I have removed mine and haven't noticed much of a difference in performance. My throttle body dosn't get as dirty now and my engine compartment looks a little cleaner.
