i also have the gm tuck fans. had them on my truck and now on my tahoe and i love them. now that i hook them up right and got some relays from dlh2006 my a/c is bone chillin cold with temps at 95* and sitting still at idle in the sun. and he great thing is at 35 mph my fans kick of via the ecu so there not robbing anything or makeing any strain at that point.

Does anybody know where I can find a How To on installing the GM fans and harness. I know I need a tune. Which one is beat? This is on my girlfriends bone stock Tahoe. Thanks

try a search there are a bunch of guys doing it. the great thing about the tahoe is they have the 34" radiator stock so the fans just bolt up. like litterally they slip on to the lower part of the rad support and bolt on the top side right beside where the radiator itself bolts up. then just do a search for e-fan wire harness and you will find something.

well i can tell you this if your going by the factory gauge to check your temp its worthless..when its over 110 here in vegas my temp runs about 200* with the LS1 fans.sometimes getting as high as 205* sitting in traffic.the factory gauge never moves.i monitor right from the obdII port.hugh difference in power from the stock fan to ls1 fans i saw in the low end on my truck. like night and day
