Default electric fan help

Hey guys, don't get mad at me, but I thought they had a lot of info on fans in search but I just searched and couldn't come up with what I need to know.

I have a 5.3l and want an electric fan. I am kind of guinea pigging my truck before I buy my next one at the end of this year. I want to buy one for this truck so I will have more of an understanding of the fans for my next truck and hopefully do it better.

I need any suggestions that you all have about what kind and size of fans. I saw in the search that alot of ya'll use Flexalite 282's. But I have a 5.3 l and I saw ya'll said it is too big for my radiator. So what model do I get? Aren't the flexalite's built specifically for our trucks? If I get an LT1/LS1 fan from a camaro on ebay or something, wouldn't that be half-*** rigging it on my radiator and look ugly? Or does it look like it supposed to be on there. I would rather go used for the simple fact that I will get rid of my truck in 8 months. Please give me some guidance. Thanks.

will this fan work for my 27 inch radiator? Or is this a piece of crap? It seems like it looks different from other LT1/LS1 fans that I have seen.

dont waste your money on flex-a-lite fans. You are going to get the same hp gains from either. Just the flex-a-lites cost ALOT more

i have seen plenty of installs with ls1/lt1 efans that look great, its a really easy install.
