you can find the flex-a-lites in the classifieds pretty often. for reason or another some people dont even install them, whether they need there money back or whatever...i just picked up a set for 320 shipped to me with the updated vsc. never even installed.

I have been told and have seen some buddys get 10 to 12rwhp and WAY better gas mileage. So, Yah, I would say it way worth it.

I have seen number in the 10-12 rwhp+ with e-fans. I think Blownchevy got even 17rwhp with his set up.

Oh $hit wait, do you have to take out the engine to do this? If you do, I'm fucked because my dad won't let me do that.

No you dont have to take out the engine. Its really just unhooking the fan shroud and taking the clutch fan out. and then bolting the other ones in... I dont know about the LS1 fans if they bolt up by the flex a lites do. The hardest part sometimes is taking the clutch fan off... but that can be done with a couple of hammer blows. I would get them.
