I deleted my other drivel in the above post.
I still haven't found an answer to the above questions...
I hear that the f-bodies (that use a different style end-link) need about 15-18ft/lbs of torque on aftermarket poly bushings. That sounds like a lot to me.
What to the Hotchkis sways say about this?
All I've heard in the past was to "tighten until snug, but don't overtighten". (WTF??)

Are they poly bushings? If so, you tighten til the bushings are squished as wide as the upper and lower cap.
For example, you want the finished product to look like the second "pic"

Damn, those suck, but hopefully you get the idea.

Thanks!
I run both the stock and poly bushings. I swap back and forth every now and then, because I can't decided which I like better........ I think I wasn't torqing them down properly.
After my post last night, I went and threw the poly's back on. I torqued them down to 10ft/lbs, and they fit into the cupped washers like you said. I previously thought that was WAAAY too much torque. I ran the same bushings on my old truck, and for some reason one of the end links snapped while I was driving, shortly after putting them on. I figured they were on too tight. (by these standards, they were not)
The truck definitely handles side to side motions better.
