my money is on detonation especially if your running the cheapest gas and 87 octane. Put in some BP 93 and it will go away.

Does it sound like tiny rocks hitting body

it is detonation. when i would run 87 with the 87 tune, i would get detonation from 5700 to 6200

Stoopid question: Do you get this at idle as well as in gear?
