thanks for everyones help. took truck to my tuner, and we checked vacuum, everythings good there, every cylinders fireing, no knock retard, no codes. pull valve covers, everything looks brand new from rockers to springs, heads super clean at 200,000 miles, thank you mobil 1. springs and pushrods were upgraded when i did the cam 11,000 miles ago and still look fine. we took a stethascope to the engine, listened to the driverside of the block, can here the ticking pretty good, listened to oil pan, can here the rotating assembly running smoothly and then the ticking aside from that. we are all convinced it is a lifter. the poping i have is not constant, more so when first started in the morn, thinking that lifter is dry. oil pressure stays at 60 when warm so i highly doubt its a main or cam bearing. pulling the heads in a week and hopefully see the culprit. sending the heads to get 6 angle valve job, and have the throats opened up and polished. if it tuns out to be more, then im going with a 6.0 shortblock with all my mods in sig. thanks again
