1st off 6-8 would not be your MAP reading. 2nd if reading vac then when its goes into gear the value should decrease a bit however if reading MAP the number will increase a bit. Also i know what your MAP should read if you are really pulling only 8" vac but i want to know what the scanner says it is. I am sorry i dont believe it idles at 8" with a stock cam and idle rpm below 900 and nothing else is being effected. I am not saying you are making it up, i just believe somthing is not right with your setup. Hmmmm

The gauge is hooked to the vacuum ports on the intake manifold, again Charlie has verified that the MAP reading isnt acting crazy and there are no intake leaks. Yes, still 1 bar and maf. Fixing to move to 2 bar SD.
