Good SS Exhaust cost some coin. You could get some aluminized stuff cheaper and would last pretty well also and save a little money. I went w/ a Corsa sport and am really happy with it. I'm sure the Borla is equally good, just heard it has a little drone inside the cab, Corsa has none. Although the 5.3 tends to not drone quite as bad as the 6.0 so you probably would be fine. It really come down to your preference in sound and look.

First off, welcome to PT.net
Exhaust is one of the more 'personal' mods. It's more about looks and sounds than performance if your just doing a cat-back. I personally like the Borla, ran a cat-back and now a custom true dual setup.
I recommenn you read the forums here a bit before deciding. There are quite a few videos and sound clips of exhaust systems that you can check out.

If you want something that is kind of...mellow, go with JBA. It uses the same style muffler as magnaflow does (stainless and straight-through) and produces a nice mellow tone. Also, if you want more rumble, get some longtube headers alone with it and it'll make it sound NICE!

Magnaflow catback IMO. I've had just about everything else out there and I like them the best. I'll never have anything else on my rides.

I have the Magnaflow and LOVE it. It doesnt sound like every other truck on the road since they all have Flowmasters. The muffler is straight through and the system is all stainless and even comes with some nice polished stainless tips.

After listening to a ton of clips and reading the forums until my eyes crossed, I've just about settled on the Corsa.
Zero drone means a lot to me. I tow.

if your gonna spend that much on either corsa or borla, get the corsa for the sake of the new baby. less resonance in the cab.
