Exhaust for 5.3 Radix - Video Added
First off, a little background. I am preparing the truck in my signature for the installation of a Radix MP112 with 3.1" pulley. I would like to keep interior cruise drone to 0 if possible, I already have to much of that when I drive my sport compact to work everyday. So below are a few plans, please respond if I am doing something that will hinder the trucks performance or if you know of a better way of doing things. Thanks. Updated 11/12/07- See attached exhaust gas analysis if interested.
- Doug's mid-length CARB legal headers with 2.5" collector or *Updated 11/12/07 - I just ordered a set of AEM Brute Force model# CHC7602 headers off of their EBAY closeout store.
- 2 Carsound California OBDII legal 2.5" oval body cats - welded to 6.0 SS or Denali style cat pipes.
-Single 3" from y-pipe back to a dynomax bullet into a hooker Aerochamber to a tip under the right rear bumper. *Updated 11/12/07 - I took the plunge and ordered a Magnaflow #15838 for the Denali and SSS trucks. I decided to go pre-fab for something a little quicker.
I'm looking to do this right the first time, and would like to not have interior drone at cruise if possible. Thanks for the help,

I am still trying to find the 6.0 SS or Denali pipes from the manifold to the intermediate pipes (just before the muffler), any one know where I could pick some up?
I could have the welding shop at work weld up a few mandrel bends, but I can't find a O.E. style two bolt 2.5" ?male? style exhaust flange to save my life! Anyone know where I could purchase one? I'd like to be able to hook up to my new Magnaflow exhaust with stock connections, I know I am probably being too **** on this.
I have attached my exhaust gas analysis from the recent smog inspection for review.

Videos Finally!
Well I finally got this all installed, about 9 months ago, thanks to the cat pipes I acquired from Posi 12 bolt, great guy/seller by the way! Him and his buddies helped me remove them from a wrecked Chevy Silverado SS that he was parting out, the *** end was laying on the ground so it was a bitch getting under the truck.
Anyhow, I finally got a chance to take video of the truck with the exhaust complete, and I must say it is pretty darn quiet. No in cab drone, nice acceleration note, somewhat subdued. There is a weird whistle sound that comes in on accel above 50% throttle position that I can't quite figure out, you can hear it in the videos. Enjoy!
