Default Exhaust complete, with cats (pics and video)

Well the exhaust is now complete. Pacesetter long tubes, Magnaflow 5x11x22", 3" in/out single exhaust, 3" piping the whole way. Ended up going with Dynomax Lap Joint Band Clamp. No problems so far. Drivers side isn't pretty due to the cars but it works for now until I can get a pair of the short ceramic cats James has. Y pipe was a pain to fab up (I realize whey they charge so much for exhaust now) but it turned out well. Sure was fun cutting all that tubing with a hacksaw!

I should be able to get the tranny out without dropping any of the exhaust if ever need be. Much quieter than the Flow 50, although the video sounds louder than it is. Perfect tone, no drone whatsoever. I like the tailpipe too, doesn't draw any attention, exactly what I wanted. Not the best angles as I was too lazy to put it up on ramps.

Overall I'm really pleased. Thanks for all your help.

Baseline, Stock exhaust, single in/out flowmaster 50. I had already take the tailpipe off at this point so it was a little louder: http://bertok.us/agreif/posthelp/Baseline.MOV

sure seems like it pulls better, but that could just be the excitement from having it all together. I should be getting on the dyno in a couple weeks to see what the gains were. I'll be sure to report back.

Hey, great job! I have a similar setup: LTs into 3" single in/out 22" MF w/3" stock exit. Only difference is I bought a Magnaflow tip from another member for mine. Your truck sounds nearly identical to mine. Again, good job!

Where did you get the exit pipe from or did you have it made? I like how it looks clean cut like that.

I made it myself, took a little while to get the angles and cuts on the bent pieces just right. Thanks. If you need any measurements let me know. It is pieced together from 3" straight sections and 180 U bends at a 6" radius.
