If i were you, i would spend 40 bucks and get a cutout. It will give you the loud mean sound your looking for. Then when you want it decent again, you put the cover back on and run through the muffler. Our trucks sound really good with a cutout. It is pretty loud at an idle and screams at WOT!! But it still keeps the muscle mean aggressive sound. It doesnt sound redneck like alot of other trucks do with a cutout. I will be happy to meet up with you if you are over near the clear lake area sometime and i can show you what mine sounds like before you spend the money. I think you would be wasting your money to get those other 40 series mufflers because it will sound the same as what you already have. I say, go with a cutout and you wont regret it.

Do ur 1 chambers have the same tone as the 40's do? People have said on other forums that they dont have any tone and that they crackle alot. I just want something a lil louder at idle. But if i cant get it louder at idle with the 40 series then i guess im just gonna keep em. I have been thinking about getting high flow cats, but also im thinking about trading or selling the truck i just got ( this one) and get an ext. cab since i dont have a lot of room for two 12's cause im gonna be in the dash. SO that mean i will have to switch everything over and put something on the truck if i trade it or sell it.. DOnt know yet still looking. later
