Default Exhaust help?

I have just got my exhaust on and I can't handle the sound. Its a 2005 HD 6.0 With S.W. Long tubes into a magnaflow X into bulletts. It has 3in mandrel bent pipe all the way dumped over the axle. My proble is that it is to (poppy) around 3 grand @WOT it sounds great and I don't mind the loudness it just sounds like sh**. any suggestions would be great. I was thinking of adding some magnaflows in front of the bulletts or some hoolers

The 22" magnaflow will quiet it down quite a bit. I changed from a flowmaster to a magnaflow and not only did it shut it up, but it also picked up .3 in the 1/4. And as far as the cam goes......can't go wrong there.

three inches is a little big on a true duel setup. everyone seems to go with 2.5 inch pipe when they go true duel. not sure if that would take care of your problem but it could have a little to do with it. cats might help too.

So you got the dual in/dual out muffler with built in X-pipe? If so I would try two things! First cut the cats off. I just did LTs,cut cats, dual in/dual out stainless Magnaflow(22" 5x11 2.5") also went with mandrel 2.5" all the way around. I havent got the tunrdowns on yet so its just staright muffller and Im not having that problem at all BUT I know a guy witht he same setup except he has shorties, he has cats and is runing tips. It sound like a fart/popping. So what I would do is cut those cats off if you can. If you cant cut the cats off I was told by a local guy who mainly installs Magnaflow and he said if you do an H-pipe before the muffler obviously and that along with the built in X-pipe with take care of that fart sound! On my setup the only popping I get is if I run around 6000 rpms for a bit and on deceleration it pops a tad bit but nothing that isnt normal!
