Default Exhaust ideas, opinions please

OK as soon as I fix my motor mounts I am putting my AEM long tubes back on. I am currently running stock exhaust from mani's to tailpipe. Before smog I had the headers, magna x, and dual 3inch out before the rear wheel.

I know I don't want the cats again but thinkin about using a stock muffler. So I wanna put on the AEM LT's (which have a wierd 2.5"ish flange) no cats, and use stock muffler. Should I use the xpipe again? I will eventually put the 402 in some day so Id like to either do 3 inch dual again or single 4" but how do i implement the stock muffler which is 2.5 inch?....

Help PLEASE!!

btw what size is like the dmax stock muffler? inlet outlet configurations?

I wouldnt run the stock muffler....I think they are just a tad to restrictive and weigh a million pounds, these LS motors love to breath. If you want something really quite get a "turbo" (series of muffler) muffler not sure what all companies make'em but they are made to flow better with no additional sound. may want to check into dynomax as well, I know they offer some great muffler's that are silent!

i just wanted to run the stock cause my buddy has one lying around. I had dual dynomax bullets last time and really liked it. I just want to see how my power would be with no cats, long tubes and a stock muffler.

I really like the sound of the corsa but don't have money like that right now. I would like to find a new sound with what I have lyin around exhaust wise.

I got a stock muffler, two 3" dynomax bullets, a 3" magna -x pipe, two slash cut tips. open to dumpin it, single, dual, 3inch, 4 inch, catless y-pipe, true duals again.....

you could run a single pipe with both bullet's in line! May give you good sound and power. depending on other mods if it's stockish I would just run 2.5" pipe after the lt's. cheaper that way and there's not much need for 3" on a stockish setup IMO.

i could run them in line, but they are 3inch mufflers, so like 2.5inch to ypipe then single 3inch pipe to inline 3inch bullets?

you could run it that way or any exhaust shop could just weld them up with some reducer's just for the mufflers. It's all preference
