Default Exhaust question

So i've installed my headers and y pipe which is 3 inches until it hooks up to my stock piping. I was wondering what yall think about me redoing the stock piping with 3 inch? will i benefit from it? also i picked up a Truckin' Magazine today and read about a 2004 Sieerra that was being worked on. The guys seem to have put a Banks monster exhaust which looks pretty cool. But would anyone happen to have this on their vehicle? if so do you have a sound clip?

its a 5.3, for some odd reason the truck actually felt better with the stock manifolds then these headers. but then maybe its because i havent gotten it retuned?

get the truck tuned. if your headers are long tubes, then you probably lost a little low end grunt, but you should pick up some horsepower up top. is the slp a catback, or just a muffler? if it's just a muffler, i'd definitely run either a true dual 2.5 inch exhaust out the back or sides, or a single 3 or 3.5 inch pipe from the factory location.

its just the muffler. i was thinking of putting 3 inch from the y pipe back over the rear since i may just be putting turn downs. i plan on putting a roll pan and i actually aint a big fan of the side exit exhaust. looks a little bit tacky to me. but who knows i may change my mind in the future.
