I have a 07 vortec max with a 2300 supercharger,ls9 cam.i have STOCK exhaust cats and all runs great, alot of power,nice and quiet WHICH IS NICE the maxs have i think 2.75 exhaust the maxs have a resinator stock also and tail pipe comes out back.I WAS WONDERING if i put a 6.2 exhaust on the 3.5 exhaust, leave resinator on, leave cats on and put a good flowing muffler would i GAIN POWER AND STILL BE QUIET SEEING I LEFT CATS AND MANIFOLDS ON.I WANTED to put 1 7/8 lts on and good flowing muffler nut i need QUIET/I KNOW THIS SUCKS BUT WHEN I HEAR A LOUD TRUCK GO BY I THINK THAT SOUNDS CHEAPPP!!!!

What makes more noise is the muffler,I have LTs with no cats and stock muffler and is almost like stock,I also added an electric cutout so I can make it real loud at the track or whenever I want.

Follow his lead. You need those LT's... they would really wake you up. If you want the factory 6.2 cat back would probably flow a ton better than yours does, but a cut out would be best for when you really want it.
