I didnt take it as sounding like an ***. Just looking for opinions, did a search and looked like more people said do the true duel over single. Not really wanting to spend the extra money if the performance is not there.

Am I safe to say in your opinion, someone like me who isnt going to do lots of mods should just stay with the single? All I am planning on doing is intake, computer, exhaust, headers and of course free stuff. All performance money goes to my car!!

Seems to me like most of the fast guys usually say stay with single exhaust when doing minor mods as a good single will flo wmore than enough. I really don't see how it can't. I have tried running stock exhaust piping with a magnaflow muffler, open Y-pipe, no muffler, etc and I could never tell enough of a difference to warrant changing my setup at all. Even with a big cam and LTs headers I didn't see any gain by not running a muffler.

I guess I am the type to try and keep it simple until someone comes up with seom real evidence that a mod that costs alot of money really works. Please don't just take my word for it though. I just know what has worked for me and what hasn't

 

I gained .2 in the 1/8 with open Ypipe ,thats why I opened mine up.
I hope it does the same with the new exhaust
"If so" under 300 for 2 tenths in the 1/8 aint too bad IMO
but we'll see
