F8L: Need your dyno
Hey F8L,
Could you post a link to your dyno graph of the cam only setup in the 5.3? Also, could you list the .050 specs, lsa, and @ what icl you installed it at.
Thanks.
Just doing some thinkin. Can't find it in with the damn search.

Sure thing mate. Just keep in mind that this was with no tuning. Well we tried to adjust the idle so it would stay running on the dyno. LOL I picked up over 3mph with the tuning in place after the dyno.
This was with the old style Volant intake, gutted cats, magnaflow muffler, electric fans, Yank TT3000.
Cam specs are 226/.535/112 at .050. We installed it dot to dot. Not 100% sure if there was any advance ground in. I could try and ask though.

Awesome.
Good thinkin, listen the mods ... forgot to ask
I've been playing around with camshaft specs. We're limited to a 4800 torque peak. Looks like yours might be around 4700rpm or so. Stays pretty flat.
Might as well push it to the max. Been thinkin, why limit yourself to a 4000tq peak when you have 800 more usable rpm. I might be wrong with that thinkin thou. Concerned with the stock head flow...so idk
I was thinkin somethin like a 224/222 comp on a 110 + 0 would be pretty cool.
Find me the icl if you can.
Thanks man.
Kyle
