I'm not for sure which year the pump is, or if it even makes a difference to be honest.. It is a car pump though.

Cost for the idler assembly is not set in stone... But it'll be anywhere between 250-350. Possibly even less in the future if we decided to produce a bunch at a time. How many people would be interested in something like this?

Thanks,
Chuck

I've had this project going for a long time now (too long). Most major work was done over a year ago. HPE has had posession of the truck for a few weeks now to finish up the nitrous install. Hopefully, it should wrap up pretty soon.

Here is a little recap of what started the project:

2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT -

Motor:
ARE custom 423 cubic inch forged superstroker
6 liter Iron block
4.040 bore
4.125 stroke
Callies crank
Eagle rods
Ross pistons
ARP studs
Cometic gaskets
Stage 2 ARE 6 liter heads
Comp cam
Dual springs
Comp lifters and hardened pushrods
Rollermaster double roller timing chain
Ported oil pump
and more...

Along with the motor:

FLP Level IV transmission
Yank 2600
ASM headers
Custom true dual 3" exhaust
UPD intake
LS1 Edit
Brembo brakes
FAST intake
Direct port NX
Flexalite 282 fans

Oh it makes a difference! That's a 97-98 F/Y water pump with some good sized spacers between the pulley and the water pump flange. The bolt-on pulley was only used those 2 years; after that they all went to a pressed on pulley that won't work because the belt rides too far out and runs the risk of rolling off the end of the pulley when the engine is running.

That's the advantage of the bolt-on pulley; you can put spacers under it and use longer bolts to get the pulley out far enough to work with the truck accessories.
