Where have you heard of anyone blowing up these intakes? I know of one corvette that has over 200+ track passes on a FAST 90mm with 18 pounds of boost with out any problems.

 

ive seen a few sand cars pop the top shell right off, seen an ls2 mani do it @ 22 psi as well.

This will not fit LQ9, right?

 

They will IF you have swapped to L92 heads.

very interested maybe someone will make some molds and produce some coil covers similar to the vette covers to match this awesome setup! thatd be the best case scenario!

 

He was merely asking if this intake (if it were avail.) would fit an LQ9 & it would if he swaps to L92 heads (+ everything else involved with that swap). But, you are correct. All of this so far is speculation.
