If putting my stock intake back on doesn't solve the problem only thing left is something in the tune isn't right I'll find out tonight.

Did you have the CAI installed in those videos? Sounds like its got an awesome vaccum leak,?

Yup I had the CAI on its 4-inch setup sounds like a small child could get sucked up when running lol

@bgray- what did you do to resolve the leak?

@twolow- did already clearance he intke for he head bolt washers?

I had 2 of these lsxrt...both leaked badly.

Sent both to comp cams, both bases were badly warped. They fixed them and sent them back. I returned the one and kept the other, still havent installed it as i have no faith in them.

Damn im in the middle of an install and now im worried. Truck has been torn apart due to my daughter being born and couldnt work on it. I will install it and try to blue rtv seal every gasket possible. The only problem I see with mine is the purge solenoid, but will fix that with jb weld as I dont think it is really that stable and pose a leak.

well guess what i put the stock intake back on truck runs tittys i also noticed the intake dosent make so much noise either

and yes N/ALS1 i did notch out the intake for the head bolts

im kinda thinking the TB is to big think i might try putting the stock TB on the LSXRT and see what happens.

Damn I wonder if I should've got the 92mm fb now. But I hope I have some good luck with mine.
