What do I need to install a fbody stall in my truck? Anything special?

Chingon said something about when he got his installed the guy that did it told him he added some sort of spacer or something like that. Any ideas?

I have a Vig stall if that makes any difference. I don't know if you'd need a spacer for another brand like Yank or whatever.

i believe that on some applications it is necassary to shim the converter to get the correct depth setting on the snout to the pump. only the installer will know this. hey mac take it to someone that knows. as for if you are going to do it yourself im not sure. my converter was a stocker turned into a stall.

ive never heard of this but that would probably explain why i have a stock stall.... take to the same place chingy took his and if they mess up oyu cna blame it on chingy and make him pay for it.... that way no one loses

yeah that is what happened with my vig...
they didnt shim it, and it blow my front pump....
Damn Cottmans

the other shop took care of this problem and shimmed it correctly

This is gonna be a Midwest converter.
