If i was going to pay over $100 for just a muffler, then i would definately get borla xr-1

Does the XR-1 let a lot of defined sound through? I really wanna be able to hear the cam through this thing.

I've had both the round and oval Borla mufflers . . . You can definately hear the cam at idle with it.

The XR-1 round is pretty loud and tough . . . the oval has more packing, and not as loud, but you can still hear the cam at idle really nicely.

Would you say it is much more defined than an oval magnaflow?

Corsa has their new DB mufflers, but idk how much they are OR if they come in the size you are wanting.





This is when idle was way lean and it idled like it had a big cam

matt, im pretty sure you've heard my brothers, it used to be mine, it is the oval one and it has a real tough sound to it... do you think the round ones are louder than his?

way more . . the Magnaflow sounds like a stock muff when compared to the Borla

Borla does make a 3 chamber, and you can still see right threw it.

I have the XR1 Oval with a Bullet infront of it. Pretty sure I have a clip in my Photobucket, if not i'll get one.

This is a 3.5 round race . . . it has less packing than the 3"

This was with LTs, a long custom y-pipe, and no cats. It was 3" all the way to the rear bumper

here was mine before i tuned it. The oval is farely quite at idle but you'll hear it go WOT and on Cold Starts.
