That's a fine as C10 my friend. And with the LS1 in it....that makes it a true Hot-Rod! Keep up the killer work and keep us updated with those pics!

Nice looking truck, with the right power plant. I have a question, can the motor mount adapters be reversed to bring the engine back closer to the firewall?

Hence why my truck is waiting (with numbers) on 4 jackstands 'til I get my 4L60E back together.

Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of good weight transfer when you place the engine so far over the front suspension. I'd focus on getting the engine placed further back, then worry about the rest. It just doesn't look right that way.
Great looking old body style either way. They're hard to come by.

yes, when i flip the mounts to the way they are supposed to be, the engine sits all the way back against the trans...but i flipped them to see if the a/c would clear, and it still wouldnt.

i will be flipping them back, to the right way, and that will move the engine back against the trans, and i will just wait and figure out the a/c issue later.

i just happened to have the camera for pics right after we flipped them, to the wrong way, to see if the a/c would clear.

the mounts have since been switched back to the correct way.
