Filthy tb/manifold !!
pulled my intake today and found this. ive had the truck about 2 and a half years, NEVER ran with out a filter or even touched my intake for that matter. im assuming the previous owner had some sort of intake on the truck. all the bolts that hold the lower air box are MIA, and you can just tell when something has been tinkered with.
i clean the tb, it was completely caked on the inside, as well as the intake manifold. wtf do i do now ? the truck runs good, throws no codes, even compression ect. im worried about what the valves and pistons look like.

yeah, they probly look pretty nasty. but it shouldn't be anything to worry about. unless its really high mileage, they'll keep running fine. you can thank the EPA for all that nonsense.

umm isn't that a DBW throttle body with no EGR?
sometimes intake crud can also be related to the PCV valve hence why people install catch cans.
I like to put a little grease on all of my rubber boots on the intake connections to make it a tighter seal.

p0107-Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input
p0443-Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit
Double check everything you unhooked/cleaned and make sure its correct.
We're you having these problems before? If not then something is not connected back properly or was damaged during cleaning.
