Still not bad, $6500 for a built 408 complete from top to bottom. If I get my asking price for the Radix and I can get some $$ for some of the LQ9 parts (do you still want any of it, BTW??) and the rest of the crap that's in my garage, it will take about $4000 off the price tag.

They do good work where you are getting a the work done. I had an old 302 get cleaned up and bored, balance the crank and all and I was happy. When are you planning on coming down. I am in the process of getting a house. Hopefully I will have it by the end of this month if all goes well. You are more than welcomed to stay.

Oh and the reason why I was asking you on the other thread is because I am having the same problem everytime I change the oil I have metal shavings. This started to happen when my oil pressure dropped. Right now it is around 20 at idle, but the thing is running fine. So I will push it until it will blow.

Morel gets my vote. They arent a cheap lifter but the best out there. Just dont use the Comp "R" lifter!!!!! Problematic pieces of crap. The Comp 850-16 is the one to use. Should you go Comp.

If I was starting over I'd just let it go and not do anything with it. I have no idea where the shavings were coming from. I was gonna throw the oil pump from the old 5.3 in there and button it back up to see if the pump was the problem. Too bad I never got that far.

I'm going to order stuff tomorrow, next two weekends are busy for me so it will be 3 weeks at the earliest, but I have to check with the guy I know down there to see when he is available too. I'll let you know....so I can come invade your new HOUSE

cheap alternative to the stockers and comp 850s and they seem to do well in high performance apps.
