Finally A 6.0
Well I finally Bought my 6.0 Lq-4 (2002 Lq-4 61K) Will pick it up today!!!
What should I do to it Before I install it?
This is what I have planned to do to it along with my current mods!
-Current Cam : Comp Cams 222/224 .566/.568 112LSA (has about 50K)
-Comp 918 springs (they have about 50K, should I repalce?)
-New hardened push - rods
-ARP Rod bolts
Should I install a ported oil pump?
I do have plans to go turbo soon, hopefully
What else can I do?

i would replace the springs. you might want to look into a better turbo cam if you are serious about those plans. also, some people have fitment with the ARP rod bolts but the kaetechs i havent heard people complain about

You might want to get a new cam and springs just so you won't have to disassemble your current motor to get the new one ready. Afterwards, you can sell off your current cam and springs.
If you plan on a turbo with decent amount of boost, go ahead and get quality head gaskets and either ARP studs or ARP head bolts.

But I see what you have in mind.
What cam would you recommend or what cam has been good with a turbo?
I plan on purchasing the new Trick Performance Turbo and running about 8-10 psi.
Running this boost will I need Gaskets, is so which ones?
How much boost can the 6.0 handle?

the 6.0 can handle that much boost. you'll have to start picking up pieces of your trans though. alot of people would go with either an 02 Z06 cam or LPE GT2-3 cam for FI applications. if all you are going to be hiitting is 10 psi, stock gaskets should be fine too

Any body running this cam?
Would this cam be better on a 114 lsa?
Would this cam do good in the 6.0 n/a? Boosted?
